True story. There was a beloved priest in the town of San Clemente for many years. He adored wine as much as we did, a true disciple. He passed away just ten years ago, and soon after this line of wines became part of the soul of Puente de Rus. The co-op’s tribute to a man that blessed their town with the love of wine.
He believed that a successful life was to go at the oxen’s pace with a hawk’s-eye-view while possessing the fang of a wolf…
- Paso de Buey, the oxen’s pace. Piano, piano. On step at a time.
- Vista de Halcón, a hawk’s-eye-view. Focus on detail and precision.
- Colmilla del Lobo, the fang of a wolf. Be aggressive.
Most importantly, he preached that sometimes, you simply have to be bobo. Be silly. Be humble. Sit down. That bottle is coming soon.
