When Mozel and I started talking about this project late last year, he said, “Kendal, 2024 is the last year I won’t have my own wines. We’re going to change the industry.”
I was already a part of it, wine my religion too.
I remember the exact minute that his presence became intertwined with mine. It was a large sit-down tasting, 2022, led by some Somm spouting out cookie-cutter scoops. A person laughed the right good tone to make me look back.
Throughout the years, we got to know one another. It’s a pretty good story. There’s history. There’s trust. And there is a lot of good energy.

I started my wine journey in 2012 while living in Chile. I never looked back. I’ve traveled and tasted the world. I also have the fancy titles if that does anything for you: WSET Diploma, WSG Master of Champagne, Journalist, TEFL Certified. I’m fluent in Spanish and lust for life…most importantly, wine is my religion.
Joining Mozel was a natural fit, goals aligned, dreams soaring. WineGod Imports is creating a congregation of like-minded wine lovers seeking wines made for us by us. We’re a part of it.

I’m done with trying to curate what the market doesn’t need. Now more than ever, we need a community, we need to align with people that want sustainable wine as a part of their life. Denouncing all agreements. Meeting needs.
It’s not about points and medals. Not about extravagance or exclusivity. We won’t dictate what you should drink. We won’t intimidate with an endless supply of titles and terminology. It’s about good wine.
It’s about getting good wine made by good people into the glasses of good people.
